Hi. I've been a big fan of the movie for a very long time. I've tried learning the language on my own just from the movie but sadly, it hasn't really panned out. I hope, that here I can improve what I kinda somewhat know and speak na'vi full time. :D

Hi! Kaltxì ma enulaia! Beautiful name :)

Welcome to the Learn Na'vi community! We would be more than happy to help out in your quest to master the language and speak like the Na'vi :D You don't have to study alone anymore. Have a look around, get cozy and make yourself at home.

You definitely got the right words :D, just missed a tiny nit of grammar.

Use the word ma before names and titles, if and only if you are speaking to that person(s) directly at the time.  Makes a bit of sense, right ma enulaia? :)

enulaia

That does make sense now. Hadn't gotten that far with conversational vocab forum yet.

:) Frawzo. I know you're just starting out, so I didn't expect you to know that already. I didn't know it on my first day of looking at / learning the language either. It's a little thing, good to know. Pretty easy to remember too.

Btw, in response to your irayo:  Nìprrte'

I like how the language is forcing me to relearn how roll my r's correctly.

EDIT: Oh and of course it's free. :D I'll tell you the details if you're interested.

Sadly, I'll have to be leaving for work soon. Have to pull a 12 since we had labor day off. They pay first shift 8 hours and 2nd shift 8 hours instead of 10.

Irayo.

enulaia

Oe tok set. Irayo ma frapo.

Don't know if I did that right.

I'm actually working on that Android app. It may not be in Google Play yet, but we do have a working version that works even faster than the iPhone version ;)
