Kaltxì!

I've been lurking around for a bit, and finally decided to pull the trigger & join up after deciding I wanted to learn a language that wasn't a programming language.  I'm pretty impressed at the community that's come together :)

Tirea Aean

how about a hybrid of both?  ;D

I'm a novice programer myself.  :) Na'vi is pretty awesome. not too hard to pick up and learn either.

I'm gonna have to try that one in Objective-C or one of the .Net languages, but that definitely made my night :D

So far I'm finding Na'vi to be an interesting challenge, especially since it's been 20 or so years since I've attempted learning a (non-programming) language.  For the moment, I'm starting slow, with just the basic alphabet & pronunciation.

Awesome. well, enjoy your stay, continue to look around and if you have any questions or anything like that, feel free to ask over in /beginners. Either I or someome else would be more than glad to help out. :D Seeya around.

 Kaltxi ma tsmuk!
Where in New York? As a child, I lived on Long Island, and while in the Army I lived in Candor, while attending College in Ithaca.
I too, am a beginner in Na'vi. It is a little tough for me due to a brain injury, but I am picking it up, though not as easily as I learned German or Samoan. It will come though, I have a great teacher who is very patient with me, and my slow but steady learning.
You should do very well, being proficient at computer languages, I think that you will do great, and be a positive addition to our family.

Niri Te: I grew up in central upstate New York, a ways further east from Candor.  I still live upstate, as does most of my family.

And irayo to all of you for your welcome; you'll definitely be hearing from me in the future :)

If anyone needs help with Objective-C (since I see you have an iOS app) or the .NET languages, feel free to ask; I program in both of those languages plus a few others.

If you could PUHLEESE program my pointy little head in Na'vi, I would be eternally grateful.
