Kaltxì Peter,

You can find it on the main website, first page.

Or there is a topic in the beginner forum called "For beginners, useful links", you'll also find it there. :)

Tervehdys

Moi! Mitä kuuluu?

Oel ayngati kineie!

I'm Ben, I've just turned 26 and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I love languages, I speak a few, speak bits of many more and I have a soft-spot for artificial ones. I teach English as a second language and I love it.

I don't know how serious I will be about learning Na'vi. I seem to have ADHD when it comes to learning languages, but I certainly hope this one takes of and becomes bigger than Klingon.

Hello everyone. :] I've come here to learn the language, and perhaps find some friends who are as in love with it as I am.

How in love with Avatar am I?

Ha ha. I will be doing an Avatar cosplay of my own. Tail, loin cloth, ears, nose, eyes and all. I know it won't be perfect, but I'm bound to have fun with it. Perhaps I could take it to a convention or something.

Anyway, my screen name is Heaven, and I have yet to get a handle on the language, so I will not disgust you all with my horrid displays of bad fandom. -laughs softly- I saw Avatar twice, plan on going with my step-father a third time, and perhaps going with my friend for a fourth helping of this perfect film.

On a side note: If they make one of those really bad animated series based on this movie, I swear to you that heads will roll. (That prolly won't happen -the head part- but my goodness...)

Ha ha, oh my, it does sound dirty. -blushes- Didn't mean it that way at all.

You will most DEFINITELY get pictures. I'm already starting on my jewelry and hemp weaving for the occasion. May as well start it now. My friend will be going as Jake, too, so I'll send in those pictures. Perhaps I should make a replica of Neytiri's bow?

ka Ya kelku

My avatar for this site is ka Ya kelku.

The name is taken from the words kame which means to see in the spiritual sense, and the end of the word fya'o - a path or way, and kelku, meaning home. Taken together, it means "one who sees the path to the heart." As a writer of Romance, specifically Science Fiction Romance, this name suits well as an avatar for my true self, Kayelle Allen.

The moment I heard the Na'vi language in Avatar, I knew I had to study it. As an author of Science Fiction Romance, worldbuilding is critical to me. Avatar has surpassed any film I've seen as it relates to that aspect. I created a language for the feline people in my Tarthian Empire series books. Kin speak Felis, a purring, hissing, softly-breathed language with sounds beyond human hearing. They also communicate emotions and intentions by use of their pointed catlike ears. I'm pleased to have discovered this site. It's like food for the soul.
