Taikomochi

I am Joel, I live in Canada close to Montréal.
Here you see me as Taikomochi, or "Jester" in japanese. But you can call me Joel or Mugen. My friends call me Mugen. :)

I'm a video games and 3D animation student in Lasalle College. I want to become a great concept artist or game designer for a good company, hopefully eventually Square. I'm a video game passionate, 22 years old, very friendly, language-oriented and living by honor. I don't watch much TV, ironically :)

I went to watch the movie the first time in 3D the 20th of December 2009, and I was blown away. Cried, I admit it. Most beautiful thing I've seen. Heard. And Felt.

I came home with my head filled with those thoughts of the movie, then I was hit with "hey, I wonder how you say that in Na'Vi" soon followed by "hm, wonder if I could find a few reference words"

Google popped up. I typed, and halfway through the typing it completed my "Na'Vi" with "Language". Paused. Clicked the link. After a few moments, here I was. :D

I'm VERY eager and determined to learn this language. Find it very, very beautiful. :)

Kalt'i. It is nice to meet you all.

Kaltxì!  Very happy I found this place, didn't even know it existed.  My name is Jocelyn, I'm 25 and I'm from Los Angeles, California. I have no real experiences with languages, but I'm excited to dive in with all of you and learn Na'vi. :)

Greetings, everyone in the group. I'm Prrton ("Britton" in English). I see all of you. I live in San Francisco, California and speak several languages. The Na'vi language is truly beautiful. If the speakers proliferate soon it will turn into a good sign and I'll want to study more. Goodbye & blessings.

eowynne

Wow, everyone's so ahead of the eight-ball already!  :D

I'm Eowynne (if you play WoW on Thaurissan, I'm on there), from Melbourne, Australia. Looking forward to getting stuck into Na'vi school!

Antony

Kaltxì frapo (I think that's right). I am Antony. I'm 16 and live in Somerset in Great Britain. I have watched avatar a couple of times, and developed an interest into the language, so last night I googled it, to find it was actually a fully constructed language. I am very keen to learn it, though I'm having trouble pronouncing most of it. Currently I can only speak English, and very little French and German. I can count in Mandarin and Japanese, but that's as far as my language skills go :D I've never taken an interest into anything like this before, so it's all very new to me.

xsoft

Tadaimas. Im finally here. I guess that my first words will be like your other. I saw Avatar for 1st time, and again and another "again" will follows. It have amazing story, and whole Pandora's culture - world, culture, the connection and also language. Well, Im have talents for maths and science and not much into languages side. Im from Czech republic (great language, isnt it?), and Ive been for some weeks also at Japan.

I will try to learn some of language, but the most of you will have probably better overlook. Never mind ;)

Maybe one (strange) note. From my born I have well .. one eye illnes. Something like I see separated images (I filter automaticly and I dont see one items twice), but images from two eyes just dont connect inside my bran and dont make 3D plastic view. Still I go to 3D version of Avatar. I dont see very big difference between normal 2D movie and real world. But still I thing that this movie is awesome. (and other people like me? ;)).
Navi != Na'vi. Deku Tree != Utral Aymokriyä

Kaltxi! My name is Ashleigh and I think I'm the baby (turning 18 on Jan 2nd) here. I'm not the only Texan, though. I've never tried to learn a new language before, but this will be fun.

Silvi Henna

Kaltxi, my name is Silvi and like all of you I'm a huge fan of Avatar and love most of all the potential of the Pandorian world such as the language.

I'm originally from Sweden but live now in Uruguay. I speak, Spanish, Swedish, English, Norwigian, some italien and hopefully soon enough I'll be speaking Na'vi.

I've seen the movie twice now in 2D (the same day) and will see it a third time soon enough. I'm reluctent about seeing it in 3D as I wear glasses and I'm not sure how well the 3D glasses translate with my sight. I tried once seeing 3D at home renting Alien vs Monster and I got a terrible head ache.

I'm so looking forward to see this community grow. I'm not a stranger to fandom and what it can create as I'm a long standing memember of the SPN community.

Anyway, I see you and I hope you all have a pleasent day.

Most at home 3D movies make my head hurt. I think it may have something to do with your TV screen being smaller than a theatre screen? IDK.
