My first Avatar view was in Autumn 2012 on TV and i heard of it before but i wan't very fascinated, however, i thought it was nice idea form J.Cameron but I only tried to Google some pictures. In Autumn 2014, when it was my third view, i started thinking about it much more deeper; I found the Avatar
FB page and got to some nice 'FullHD images of Neytiri'. I discovered Pandoropedia and its English-Na'vi dictionary.
Then, I've been lurking on the forum /in the Czech section/ for week or two and joined to Avatar/Na'vi comunity as proper membern in February. I was very pleased that there remained small group of people from Czech rep. who were still maintaining the dictionary
and grammar. That was like a tresure for me; having whole grammar and vocab in native language helped a lot. I've started visiting Teamspeak periodically which stays for me as a tradition. First few peoples, I've met, were Neytiri
. It was wonderful moment, they were actually trying to teach me some Na'vi and it was very nice. She taught me the correct prnounciation of some letters even with my bad English skill. Then, they 'handed me over' to Tanri. We talked Na'vi, their language, Avatar itself etc. We discussed about how to teach me Na'vi best way and we decided to take the Le'eylan's Prezi lections as a good education material even though it was very old in that time. He said that it's like old Ngaynume lesson. After few 'lesson', he showed me a very cooll program on grinding vocabulary, the Memrise, I realy recomend it now since I'm using it for Na'vi as well as for German.
As time went, i learnt about 1200~ until August 2015 and finished it as a small Christmas present that year
I visit every Monday German lerngruppe. In past I visited there just for getting some German listening skill but now Na'vi start getting over German and some of us starting actually speak Na'vi quite good. Atm,I am quite bad at Na'vi-listening. There are not many opportunities to improve it in everyday life.
That is all waht you shall know about me.
