Wow, this helps out a lot. I've been interested in the language since a little before the movie came out, and I've been scouring the interwebs for more information, but this site is awesome. Gave me a bit of a head rush when I saw the comments in Na'Vi. I won't be making any soon, but here's to hoping I'm a fast learner.

This is a great community, you'll learn fast for sure. ;)

Just download some useful documents or read useful posts that were made and you'll be up to date. ;)

Give it a go!  I've learned more Na'vi by translating posts and trying to write my own comments in it than just by reading the lexicon.  But that's me.  (Of course, piecing together the sentences makes me read the reference documents, so it's a win-win situation.)

Heh. That's exactly what I've been trying to do. Not entirely successfully, but that's learning!

It will take a while, try and make some simple sentences then practice, remember Rome wasn't built in a day.

Yeah, and thanks. Cramming information won't get anyone very far. I think that the best thing about this site that I've seen (other than the obvious) is that I can say "I want to learn Na'Vi" and everyone agrees, whereas elsewhere, I say that and people are like "Sure... You're weird."

The good thing in here is that everyone is more or less on the same boat, there are no experts, just learners of different stages so we know what it is to be a beginner :).

Just remember: Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
