Irayo hnm,

How long have you. Een speaking Na'vi?
I saw avatar the othe night and watched it again last night, is an amazing film!
While I was watching it I couldn't help but think that the na'vi language was also amazing!
So I did a goggle search and lo and behold I find that it's a real language with ppl speaking it!
I had to join up and find out more!

A little about me, I have 2 kids and a third on the way, I'm a bussy guy who loves cars and playing with cars, kites, rc cars, well any type of toy really! Lol
I'm a machanic by trade so get to play with toys all week long!

"Hello", "thank you", and "welcome" are pretty much the first things people learn on here. xD
I assume, anyway. I've been on for like a week and a half, but it seems like that's true.

Hmm, a british person who loves cars. In one word, I would say... Top Gear!  ;D

Kaltxi, zola'u niprrte ma tsmukan. :)

There are plenty or ressources around here, available at various formats. You might find interesting stuff starting from here : na.learnnavi.org

You also can have a look at Project Ngaynume : there are two lessons/practice sessions each week, opened to every one in Europe.

Feel free to ask questions.

Rotarydrift

Thanx again to all,

The resources sudjested are really great and I'm starting to break the back of words phrases and the prenunciations!

Yes top gear is cool and great to watch but utterly useless info! But I'd love to do what they do!

Quick Q, what does ZOLA mean? Can't find it in the dictionary...

Syayvi

(it means luck / chance)

Alyara Arati

Za'u is "come".  Z<ol>a'u is "have come."  So z<ol>a'u nì-prrte' is "have come pleasantly" or in other words, "welcome". :)  You can see this writing convention of placing the infixes in <> and prefixes/suffixes separated by - in the beginner section.  Etrìp-a syayvi! ;)

Zola'u = za'u + ol (ol: perfective aspect verbal infix). ;)
