Tsìrli

Kaltxì frapo!

Actually, I learned a teeny tiny bit of Na'ví (how do you write the "i"?) anyway, been meaning to learn the language for a long time. Then as I got busier and busier, I forgot all about it. And just now, I watched Avatar on tv and felt inspired to learn it again :D Treat me well!

Eywa ngahu frapo :)

Zola'u nìprrte' ma Tsìrli! Ngeyä tìftiari etrìpa syayvi. ;)

It's Na'vi actually, the "i" in Papyrus font seems to be an "í" but it isn't.
More commonly you'll see "ì". Type alt+0236 to create it, or click the button provided in reply boxes. seems you know this

Your name seems familiar to me...

Kaltxì ma tsmuke, zola'u niprrte!

Feel free to post in any section of the forum you want, and do not hesitate to ask questions if you have doubts about something in Na'vi... or whatever. We are a friendly community out here and we do not hesitate to share our opinions between us on many subjects. Feel free!

You seem a bit interested in Na'vi. I have no idea where you are located, but there are some fun Na'vi classes each week, occurring using Teamspeak and a special server based on European times. If you are interested, just tell.  ;)

Tsìrli

Frapo irayo :D

and yeah that's the one i got from the name generator.
And.. I think i read somewhere that the í is part of the font. lol whoops!
So, refer me as Tsìrli from now on :D what does it mean anyway?
si, Tsumktengan ma tsmukan, peu ral fi'u, "zolaú niprrte'?
(did i get that right? == i used the navilator)
si, oe ma ta Malaysia :)

Eywa ngahu frapo!

Tsìrli doesnt have a meaning. It was output from a generator, right?

Oh no. Navilator. I have the source code and plans to make that thing not so vomit-inducing. That is my my side-project this semester.

What do you mean by " si, oe ma ta Malaysia"? This is what i mean about the wretched navilator xD

This.. Some outputs under my formula simply, and Tsìrli as an random example for the introducing image... :P

In fact we haven't discovered any meaning for names, i.e. created words following the building rules. The one with "some meanings", like mine, is nickname or title, rather than name..

This is not an issue anyway. One's Na'vi name can easily be changed in the profile settings if you no longer like it (just for you to know).  :P

Tsìrli

Haha thanks for the replies :P
well.. zeh Navilator stated that "si, oe ma ta Malaysia" means that "and(si[sounds spanish]), I come from Malaysia"
sooo... i just followed XD

Then it should've given you:

Oe za'u   ftu      Malaysia
I    come from  Malaysia

Yeh, navilator is a bit misleading ;)

I left it as malaysia on purpose as it is legal as is. if you wanna translate the english pronunciation of it, ey is a good call.

I think it actually should be whatever the person calls their own country in the native language, passed through the na'vi phonetics system

Oe is "me", za'u ftu is "come from" i presume?
