yup! My earlobes are size 6. Normally, when you first get them pierced they're either a 20 or 18 (as the number gets smaller, the hole gets bigger...)

Ma Netslummer, here in the Uk they are measured in mm. When you get them done they are a 1.2 or 1.6mm and then go up. Mine are 6-8mm depending which earing or plug i want to wear lol.

I think the only reason we Americans haven't gone Metric is because of some vestigial attachment to the widely accepted mantra of "We're 'merican! It's a free country! We don't want no Brits tellin' us what ter do!"

I may be American, but come on, people. Base 10 is logical.

Voila. Me. I've got my hair slicked down a lot and the picture is a few months old, but whatever.
If you're wondering about the things on my legs, here's a good site to go to: http://www.poweriserpages.com

And before anyone points it out, I am fully aware of the Na'vi costume implications with the stilts. I've come up with an idea for a Na'vi costume. They have pants that will, in fact, cover up all but some of the stilts. I figure I make myself a pair, then get a big pair of shoes and cut out a square of the bottom to stick the hooves through, get a shirt that imitates a standard RDA Avatar uniform, get supplies for a queue and tail, and fix myself up with some cosmetics. I've always enjoyed stage makeup and altering my face, so that should be fun. Liquid Latex could work well to alter my nose, and basic colored stage makeup should do for the general blue-ness.
Using a few suggestions from other members, I think I'll be able to figure out the tail and wig parts. Granted, the stilts won't make me 10 feet tall, but probably somewhere around 8.

We gave you the Imperial system (other than your gallons) though. Really it should be not wanting the French to tell you what to do.

And since when was base 10 logical, I like 2305843009213693951.

In America they call it paintball...

... and the guns are about twice as loud...

... and you get hit with about 16 times the force which can bruise you...

... and you can't lie when you're shot in the face...
