Kaltxì, ma frapo, I would like to make friends and hopefully  find some practice buddies here. My goal is to learn as much Na'vi as possible before Disney's Pamdora opens, I will be hopefully attending opening day, and I am very excited to attend as many of us would be I am sure.  :P I have seen the Toruk: First Flight live show before, and have played the Avatar game on PC/ Xbox 360. I would like to purchase the wii version, but there is important money to save and I can see that story on youtube at any time. I am an artist and like to draw, even Photoshop. I sing too and have a little fun with makeup. If I could only manage to afford and attend and AvatarMeet that would be amazing and I would love to Paint up. I like to Na'vi roleplay, though I think its just a way Iexpress my spiritual side. If I were to name any Na'vi tribes known so far that I would belong to, I would assume it would be the Anurai :palulukan:. I try to do some creative writing but again, commitment even to my hobbies can be tough. I recommend to anybody, especially anyone who likes investing time studying the world of Avatar, to read The Philosophy of Avatar, it is an excellent read to those who deep think. I am simultaneously learning Esperanto through Duolingo, and Toki Pona on Memrise. Conlangs are charismatic, which sealed the deal for me getting into Na'vi language. I have browsed the forums before to learn some things here and there, normally just looking for phrases or spoken language to show to my friends. I have found that despite the Na'vi not having written language as far as we know, it has matured as a written language, this makes me hope that there is more of it spoken in the future by many. I find learning through my own experience to be difficult. Vocabulary or grammar doesn't stick to me well compared to Esperanto, but accent and phonology is no problem. Perhaps it is my brain. My question is, how fast can Na'vi be spoken? with all of the delightful trills and pops, it wouldn't always be easy to speak quickly, well for me, a Skxawng Tawtute. Maybe the next sequels will answer that question with the true Na'vi . Irayo, (for) ting mikyun. :-[

Saluton! Kaltxì! Kame ngat, And welcome! :D

Awesome :D Feel free to dive in and chat with us, ask questions, share your cool art stuffs, and what not :)

I also have looked at EO and TP. Cool languages. I still prefer Na'vi tho. And as for how fast it can be spoken, I have a pretty decent pb record for wpm spoken. But it still feels unnaturally fast and no one can really understand me but maybe like one person HRH.

But yeah make yourself at home. I'll be around if you need anything :)

Ah, how cool! Someone else who identifies with the Anurai trbe!  :palulukan: I am a real-life palulukan (lion, tiger, liger and other wild felines) keeper.
I hope toy will be able to actively participate here. Formal activities are not real common, but there if a fair amount of Na'vi chatting going on around here, here and there. Tirea Aean does a discord course on Saturday afternoons you might want to look into. I am not able to frequently participate, as weekends have been intensely busy for me this year.

I replied to your post on another thread about the May 27th opening date. I am saving my resources for the October/November timeframe, when we will have an AvatarMeet gathering in Orlando. I'm hoping while there to also spend some time at Animal Kingdom, as well as a couple other places in Florida who hold big cats. If you like big cats, Florida has one of the highest concentration of big cat facilities in the entire US. I am also hoping to spend some quality time at Kennedy Space Center, including doing some of their more in-depth tours.

I am here almost every day, and am always happy to answer questions, or have short chats in Na'vi. I am also involved with another group you should consider joining, the Language Creation Society. Last, but not least, I manage the learn Dothraki/Valyrian site, which is also hosted on this physical server.

Kaltxì ma Karin, and welcome. I don't frequent the Introductions section much, so I must apologize that I'm late to the party with this.

It's great to have another writer here, we have a fanfic section for anything Avatar related. I've also posted a couple of non-Avatar related pieces in the books and literature section.
I know the nagging irritation of not making progress on a fanfic, I have several that aren't currently progressing.

We have a Gallery here, and there's also the fan art section.
Another Photoshoper is always welcome too.

Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.
