Well, I really do not know much latin (almost nothing), but as far as I know, i'd translate it as: "Entire is not a thing but the kingdom is a unique land"

Pretty sure it's wrong :S

I think it's something more like: The Universe (or universals) do not exist (in substance) in reality, but are alone in the singularity they live in.

Something about how values aren't corporeal?

From my philosophy course I remember a   sentence of saint Thomas: Universalia non sunt res subsistentes sed habent esse solum in singularibus
I know, it's difficult to translate but can somebody help my

rutxe!

Universals are not subsistent things, but have existence (or being) in singular things. It has something to do with whether God knows singular things, which as I understand was an extremely pressing issue for medieval philosophers.

WOW! Is this the dead language Latin I see here? Or have I misunderstood something?

Dead?!  Sumerian is dead!  Latin isn't dead — just a bit zombie-like.

Just wondering, shouldn't the topic be Salvete! not Salve?, multiple people vs. one right? I stopped studying latin pretty early in to be honest and took over the time I was using doing latin with na'vi so I could be wrong... who knows?
