Sprichst du Deutsch?

Ein Bisschen. But here is not the place for casual chat. :)

tsnì is not a relative pronoun. Relative pronoun is something like

Die Regel, die ich gelernt habe..
The rule that I have learned..

I've raised the issue, about which part of speech tsnì is, in the main Dictionary thread for discussion. imho it's a conjunction. *shrug* :-\

You're right ... I've checked with the Duden and there dass/daß (as I would use it in sentences like sìlpey oe tsnì... ,,ich hoffe, dass ...") is marked as a conjunction

Tìtstewan

Which "das/dass" is meaning here? :-\ ??? *auf dem Schlauch steh* :-[
QuoteDie Regel, welche ich gelernt habe... -> Relative pronome
Die Regel, das ich gelernt habe... -> Relative pronome
Die Regel, jene ich gelernt habe... -> Demonstrative pronome
...ein Bild, das sie aufgehängt hat... -> Relative and Demonstrative pronome
...ein Bild, welche sie aufgehängt hat... -> Relativpronomen
But:
...die Hauptsache ist, dass du glücklich bist. -> Conjunction
--------
...and daß with ß is really old writting...

zel is marked in main dictionary as adverb, but on dict-navi as conjunction....

QuoteDie Regel, welche ich gelernt habe... -> Relative pronome
Die Regel, das die ich gelernt habe... -> Relative pronome
Die Regel, jene ich gelernt habe... -> Demonstrative pronome => not possible
...ein Bild, das sie aufgehängt hat... -> Relative and Demonstrative pronome
...ein Bild, welches sie aufgehängt hat... -> Relativpronomen
But:
...die Hauptsache ist, dass du glücklich bist. -> Conjunction
Last one ... tsnì is only used to introduce a subordinate clause, no relative clause.

I guess that means, I'm 'really old' then :-\

tungzup example says tawmungzupa, instead of tawnungzupa

No. :) Just my conflict in my brain with the German orthography reform of 1996...

Just a little French correction in nìFranse's meaning. It's not en française, but instead en français. ;)

Noticed that the firefox plugin installs the link to the DE only version when used to search the result. Is it possible to have it install the language based on what language the person is viewing in when they click the link to install the firefox plugin that way for example when i click to install it , i get the /en version?

I forwarded your issue to Tukan. I'm sure he can help better than I with those technical stuff.

I don't use the plugin, yet ;)
With the normal site (I think you've noticed) the language you searched in last is set as default.

Yeah, we've been discussing that and will decide on how to handle it ... we wanted to make the search engine forward to fpxafaw automatically. I will remind Tukan again. For now, all I can do is add "unofficial" as you suggested.

I doubt that very much since the appearance of txurtel and its explanation:

QuoteThe etymology does not involve the verb tel 'receive' but rather the noun telem 'cord,' which has been shortened in the compound: txur + telem > txurtelem > txurtel, 'strong cord = rope.'

Tìtstewan

Interesting.
Then the translation sound a bit strange in German "Liedakkord" / "Gesangakkord" = song chord. From where you got the word "Akkord"? :-\
Theoretical it should be Lied-Strang for waytelem.

oel ngaru stxenutìng fìreyfyayä 'itit

The Na'vi use mnemonic storytelling aids called Song Cords, strings of colored beads and bits of stone, bone and plant pieces which, when handled during singing, create a correlation of tactile and visual cues with verbal sequences. Each individual creates a Song Cord that is their personal history, and community Song Cords are created for various social purposes, including family and clan history, genealogy, and even the recording of astronomical and accounting information.
