Interesting.
Then the translation sound a bit strange in German "Liedakkord" / "Gesangakkord" = song chord. From where you got the word "Akkord"? :-\
Theoretical it should be Lied-Strang for waytelem.

I knew I overlooked something ;) Yeah, the German translation is taken from back in the days when there was still uncertainty whether it should be ‘cord’ or ‘chord’ – so, I’ll change that ASAP ;)

Ma Palu, thanks for the link ;)

Ma Palulukan Maktoyu Ta'lengean,
I understood it, but the question is, why it is in German translated as "Liedakkord" = sound chord, that I don't understand.

Edit: ninia'd by Plumps! ;D

I just have a question.
What's the "special" of this name "Rai'uk"? Is this a clan, a male name or something else?
->    Rai'uk  [ɾa.i.ʔuk] n.   Rai'uk (name)

Edit:
tìng nari
It should be a male name. :)

I found a bug, I think.
If I search for "Ìstaw", I get a short word example, but it shows no result.

Noticed that the firefox plugin installs the link to the DE only version when used to search the result. Is it possible to have it install the language based on what language the person is viewing in when they click the link to install the firefox plugin that way for example when i click to install it , i get the /en version?
 8)

Sorry for the long reply time. Please, could you test it again. The plugin should now check which language you have used last time or use your browsers language as fallback. There is no need to reinstall.

Kxeyeytsyìp:
nìwin is marked as adverb but the English translation should be quickly, rapidly too not fast, I think.
win (adj.) is already fast ;)

Update:
For nìwin, I would add quickly and in cause weather, windy.
I searched in Na'viteri for examples:
Quote
Vocabulary update
Eywal zeykivo ngat nìwin.
‘May Eywa heal you quickly.’

Weather Part 2 and a bit more
Tul hufwe nìwin.
‘It’s very windy.’

’A’awa aylì’u amip nì’aw — A few new words only
Fìnaer ftxìvä’ lu nìhawng, ha sweylu txo ngal tsat kxivukx nìwin.
‘This drink tastes horrible, so you’d better swallow it quickly.’

Spring Vocabulary, Part 2
Ma Ralu, srung si por! Nìwin! Syeha ke si!
‘Ralu, help her! Quick! She’s not breathing!’

Lì’fyari po peyì? How good is her Na’vi?
Fwa ngeyä tsmukan tul nìwin sìn peyì?
‘How fast does your brother run?’

Sìn yì a ke tsun kawtu spivaw, nìwin frato.
‘He runs at an incredible level, faster than anyone else.’

tried to look up a word I couldn't quite remember alu "tsane"
no result

so here is the details
http://naviteri.org/2012/06/spring-vocabulary-part-3/

Tsatsenge lehrrap lu fìtxan kuma tsane ke kä awnga kawkrr.
‘That place is so dangerous we never go there.’

Keep in mind that the short form tsane ‘there’ is used with verbs of motion: it’s the place to which one goes. The full form is tsatsengne.

As discussed in the Short Form thread I would not add it as an entry of its own but I will speak with Tukan whether it’s possible that the search engine knows that tsa- can be placed with adpositions because, as Tirea pointed out, it can stand for any thing or object, topic that you’re talking about. With adpositions of motion or location this corresponds often with place (tsenge) but it doesn’t have to be.

What should be wrong? In German we have the possibility to say

Fralo a taron, oeyä ’itan txopu si nìnänän.
Jedes Mal, wenn er jagt, ist mein Sohn weniger ängstlich.
… hat mein Sohn immer weniger Angst.
… hat mein Sohn weniger und weniger Angst.

So, the explanation „weniger Adjektiv“ refers to the fact that we can insert almost every adjective after „weniger“ (less). Italics in this case have a meaning ;) (though I’m not always consistant :P )
:-\ I probably should add „immer“ though to make this idiom clear…

Ah, tslolam …  :-\ good point. Don’t know enough about linguistics to say for sure whether the part after „(immer) weniger“ is considered an adverb or an adjective. But since the form itself is the same in German (no distinction between adj./adv. like English -ly forms), I think it doesn’t matter.

From the "Na'vi proverbs"
Quote
Second, If I take a look on Dict-Na'vi:
Quote
klltxeykay [klˌ.tʼɛj.ˈkaj] vin.              lay (something on the ground)
klltxay [klˌ.ˈtʼaj] vin.lie (on the ground)
lie flat
But in German "lay" (klltxay) is only translated as "liegen" and I used the German dictionary.
Don't need the German translation a note like (auf dem Boden)?  :-\
