Can We do something to remove that sort of content from YT?
Any errors in spelling, tact or fact are transmission errors.

I think I just threw up. O_O

I don' think we have any legal grounds to remove this, but we can at least spam the hell out of the comments section to say this is a pretty bad video, or provide actual helpful information that is current and relevant and useful.

But to be honest, most of the steps themselves are not bad advice.  It's just the screenshots are somewhat outdated, links are missing, and screen reader is such a horrible presentation method.  It's only semi-helpful. All they did was take a screen reader to http://www.wikihow.com/Learn-Avatar%27s-Na%27vi-Language . Meh.

Plumps

I don't even want to watch that not to give it more view time and views (we all know how YouTube works).

That exactly the reason why Tirea back then, and I a few months back started our own YouTube channels to provide solid information. Now we just need to produce enough 'hits' to make it to the top of results for YouTube searches ;)

Shameless plug to my YouTube Channel ;D

I would absolutely love to see your YouTube channel get big and become a top hit!  I want to see it bury all these badly done videos :D

Kea tìkin :)

Sadly, I don't think I will be doing anything with my channel for the foreseeable future.  It's on the back burner for the time being.

Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

It rather sounds like a set of emergency instructions in an airplane.

In case of a cabin decompression, masks will fall from the compartment above you.
1. Pull the mask to your height.
2. Place it firmly over your nose and mouth
3. Secure the elastic band behind your head, and breathe normally.
4. If you are travelling with a child or someone who requires assistance, secure your mask on first, and then assist the other person.

LOL.

For some weird reason, half the time it said Na'vi, it got the a sound way off, other times it got it more correctly.

At least, it is a kind of weird advertising, but... LOL

Is it spoof-able?  I am willing to donate my best "answering machine" voice to any counter-project!  :)

For example, How to Learn Na'vi... No, I mean it!  How to Learn Na'vi... for real! etc.  But just a thought.

Greetings Everyone,
I am still new - trying to learn. Perhaps you are each somewhat familiar to me but we have not met. So, chiming in on this conversation at my own peril :-)... Learning a new language is not easy and there are various motivations. It is a huge commitment that is not often connected to one's desire to "know" how to speak a language.

Na'vi is unique because it is a conlang - we all know this. But there aren't many "native" speakers around or artifacts such as complete conversations/movies etc. available for study.

If you tried to get rid of every item on the Internet that was not useful you might need to remove a lot. As a learner I suggest you leave those things alone and continue with the great work you are currently doing - motivated learners will find their way. The YouTube channel: Stefan/Plumps I think, not sure, is very useful, and well done. The hard part in doing those is to stay with it, especially when life steps in, or boredom. And it is free! Oh my goodness. Youtube is littered with sincere earnest attempts but offers no complete course. Memrise: Useful "classes" for learning vocabulary, phonology, spelling, getting your feet wet, but hardly a way to learn the language. Blogs and websites tend to just stop leaving you wondering......what happened, did they die, do they hate Na'vi now, are they learning High Valyrian, shameless, heheh.

I will keep studying and check in with you folks and let you know how it goes. Maybe you can let me know how you each became fluent. What were your motivations? What helped you most? As for me (I hear a teri :) ) I think my brain is wired for language even though I am slow at it, my brain refuses to let me rest when I am studying language. Visit me in Memrise (sbibeau) and you will see my annoying numbers :-)

Sorry for the babble. Please keep up the awesome work. And please don't worry about the yucky stuff out there - think of how much terrible English exists in forums, heehee.

Special thanks to SteGe M from YouTube - awesome videos!!!

And shout out to Tirea Aean for the constantly updated Memrise vocabulary.
