I wanted to translate the complete Lion king,
and make it a nice Na'vi-picture-book-thing.
I started making this the 10/10/10,
hoping that I'll continue till it's completely finished.

I decided to put the short version of
"The morning report" with the pictures,
but a translation of the long version was also made;
by me and KalaKuival.
You find both of them under the "songs-spoiler". :D

All text that's used on the pictures is in the file that you can download below.

Ma nawma Le'eylan, nga ayvurä lerel tsulfätu lu ;)

Txantsana säfpìl!

Only thing I noticed in quick-scanning over the images: don't forget the double negation... in every instance with Scar and Zazu where they say kawkrr, a ke must accompany the main verb.

Looking forward to the continuation of that project ;)

:P

Irayo seiyi ma Plumps!
I hope that I'll be able to do at least a few pictures a day ;)

Teri double negation, it will kill me. I'll never learn. When it comes to negation I do not see.
hrh but I will fix it...

Ulte ngal... kawkrr tsaye'a trrayä 'atanit.
Hayalov....
So, let me guess. It should be "Oe kawkrr ke tsängun olo'eyktan livu" and
"ngal kawkrr ke tsaye'a trrayä 'atanit"?
If so, it makes no sense at all to me . >_<

QuoteNgeyä sa'nokìl kawkrr ngaru kolar futa nga zenke uvan sivi syuvehu srake?
And this shouls be: "Ngeyä sa'nokìl kawkrr ngaru ke kolar futa ..." ?

This. Is. EPIC!!!!!! You've combined my favorite movie with my second-favorite movie! Very awesome only!

I'm thinking we should get some voice-actors together for this and make an audiobook version. WTB someone that sounds like James Earl Jones!

Exactly ... hm, perhaps you should think of all the kaw- words and kea as addition to the regular negation. So, start with the 'normal' negated statement and change the rest afterwards, say "I can't be leader – ever!" ... and since it's 'can't' you have to negate the 'ever' as well => never (frakrr => kawkrr)

I just MIGHT be able to do that... IDK, you'd have to judge my voice based on my imitations in English as Mufasa or as Darth Vader...

But to the OT... THIS IS KICK-@#*!!!!

I WANNA BE NALAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Ma Le'eylan, if you are Nala, I would be honored to be your Simba. (I definitely sound like Matthew Broderick anyway...though I'm not sure if that's necessarily a good thing.  :D) Plus, I KNOW that Txonä Rolyu is an excellent singer and can definitely do all the songs, and Eyamsiyu, I'm sure you'll do a great Mufasa.

This sounds like SO MUCH FUN...what a great idea!!!!!

I don't think I've ever wanted to support anything more than this.

Payoang, that is excellent.

Off-topic: So I decided to look up a reference recording of Jones' voice, and one of the Youtube comments was this:

A little humor to begin the day.

LOL That's true though.  A voice to make anyone swoon.
