Just send a personal message to Tuiq through "My messages". Worked for me.

Kaltxì,

I started translating the new words in the dictionary. There is something there that puzzles me though:

Quote\word{ìì}{I:}{hedge}{um, er}{PF}

What are translators meant to do with "hedge", and "um, er"? I'll leave this open for now...

Thanks for filling me/us in!

After consulting Wikipedia, I realise I didn't quite have the grasp on the word 'hedge' as I thought. So, I've changed it to 'filler', which is more appropriate.

'um, er' can be translated as they would be said in your language. For instance, the japanese use 'ehh' more than an English speaker would...

Ahh, now I get it. Irayo.

Argh. Looks like there is either still, or again, a problem with the Dutch dictionary. I'll try and figure out myself if there is another { } match problem...

Yup... I downloaded the latest version and that says

WOORDENBOEK NA'VI - NEDERLANDS v: 11.803
Laatst bijgewerkt op: 7.3.2011

Last update on March 7th. Which strikes me as odd, as I have updated it several times after that, even yesterday.

Okay, that helped a lot. I now see v 11.85 from yesterday!

Thank you!

Attention translators:

Do any of you experience words fallen away from the edit page for your language?

I have found that many words have disappeared from the Dutch file. For instance prrwell, pukap, pum, puve are gone, and also, among others,
kinamtil, kinä, kintrr, kintrray.

Those words disappeared because they were deleted in the main dictionary. The system purges words that are non-existant anymore from time to time - usually when you try to look them up.

Edit: Okay, some of them at least. I didn't check all, but pukap and puve are definitely in the pdf as well as in the translator. prrewell was deleted, pum is in there as well. They're in the database, SQL and the PDF. I assume they are in the TSV and jMemorize files as well.

I see pukap and puve in the PDF as well, but:

does not show them. Also Ctrl-F-ing the words does not show them.

I am slightly puzzled. There is also a word in the 'e' part missing, for instance.
Sorry to be a nuisance, but this is very strange.

Just for the archive, the problem's solved. Use the search function at the bottom of each page to search a certain word; outdated only lists the words that need to be updated/reviewed.

Because the internal forum isn't used at all, I'll just post updates here.

The softmode was removed. Because people kept linking to the wrong version of the dictionary (which was only generated when softmode was active), I removed the softmode and redirected all requests.

All links from mwf-data will now auto-redirect to learnnavi.org, where the newest version is found. For the user, this has no effect - as long as my domain remains, however. After that, all those links will become invalid.

Good news. Makes things a lot easier. Thank you.

Which reminds me - I have now tools to check dictionaries for unmatched brackets or dollar signs. It's not a complete LaTeX parser and it cannot detect all errors, but it can find the most annoying ones.

I might make these tools public somehow (so you could see which word definitions are "wrong").
