You could simply edit the cookie, but for this, the password reminder function should do fine.

I tried it but got this response

The requested URL /f/f/user_ticket.pl was not found on this server.

There we go again: Fixed that by simply uploading a whole forum. I hope. That should do the trick. I guess.

Also, thinking about writing a new translation interface; less LaTeX for users, more like BBCode/perhaps WYSIWYG. The original system was designed for LaTeX geeks, seeing as those all left, we should probably step down - nobody is going to take advantages on the system.

Alright, I finally remembered the password :P
So I'm logged on ... but I don't see any visible data

The boards are all gone - use the edit_dict.pl links.

Sometimes I hate technology ... and the fact that I'm too stupid to understand it...

Alright, I enter http://eanaeltu.learnnavi.org/edit_dict.pl but all I get is

What did I do wrong this time?

It's http://eanaeltu.learnnavi.org/f/edit_dict.pl .
Alright, that brings me to the site ... but it still says »Zugriff verweigert« :(
I don't get it. I'm logged on, I can see my user name on the top right hand side.

I'm so sorry for making this much trouble :( :-[

Alright ... thanks a lot for the help! :)

The server crash resulted in a loss of data on the Dothraki instance of EanaEltu. It was fairly easy to fix, but I learned the hard way that there are some things that LaTeX or the program in general does not like. (the hangup was apparently on a piece of text like this: 3.050a_test ) I am guessing the underscore was the culprit. It did not make the program generate any errors. It just made output files that were empty.

Now that everything is up to date, is there a way of downloading the database so that if there is another major server problem, not all would be lost? I think I would want this in a format like what Tirea Aean uses for his VrrtepCLI program, or perhaps CSV or XML. This could also be used to build a similar tool for Dothraki.

As far as changing the program to not use LaTeX, I am not sure that this would be a good thing long term. Working with EanaEltu is forcing me to slowly learn LaTeX, and I can think of a lot of good reasons to continue doing so. If there were to be a change, I would like it to be such that the formatting, etc. would continue to be as good as the LaTeX version. Doing complex formatting, from what I understand, is one of the great strengths of LaTeX.

In any case, Irayo, ma Tuiq for hanging around and making sure everything continues to work.

Updated to mwForum 2.27.2. This will require you to login again as the password security has been improved (you may experience longer login times).

As said in the main thread, I'll need a list of all LaTeX commands that you require (such as \bf) and what they do - i.e. italics, links, bold, that kind of stuff.

I'm planning to write a dictionary "Na'vi - Română | Română - Na'vi".
What should I do exactly?

Hello!
All translation work for na'vi-russian dictionary are done now.
Is it possible to compile test version of dictionary to find out errors?
What can I do for this?

Tirea Aean

Translators cannot compile their version of the dictionary on their own; the whole master project must be compiled simultaneously.

It would be nice to have this feature to compile any international version separately, but as far as I know, there's no way to do it right now.

Ma Tirea, I don't know where you got that information, but the translators CAN compile their translated version. I know that from Tuiq.
The there is a "Create" button which compiles the files. ;) ;)

I went in to the page you go to to see what the UI looks like. I only saw an Update button. :-\

Interesting. Then what was the problem? a 0kb file?
