I recently ran across this article on transitivity.  Down near the bottom of the page, section six, "Problem Cases," gives examples of two languages where it looks like verb transitivity is cross-referenced on other parts of speech, in this instance, adverbs and noun phrases of place.  It is very funky.

Interesting examples.  Now I have to figure out what a bivalent verb is.  I know at least one bivalent pronoun in the English language.

Justing kidding around, ma wm. annis.  I enjoyed the article.
