Of course I'm not expecting lì'fya Na'viyä to adhere to these stages posited by Berlin and Kay ... but ... as far as I know, there is no word for "red". Hm. What color blood do heterotrophs on Pandora have lol

Red, I'm guessing.  Na'vi really does need a word for red (and then hopefully a rainbow can be spoken ).

There was a lot of Sturm und Drang during the Lexical Expansion Project open period about colors: a vote, colors.  Frommer had some color words, but then decided to step back and think about the issue more.

It sure looked like the blood was red.

I think there's a word for color, so "color of blood" would suffice for red for now.
