Klingon Qep`a

Has anyone here ever attended the annual Qep`a put on by the Klingon Language Institute?

This year, the Qep`a is here in Reno, just before the WorldCon science fiction convention.

The Qep`a is being offered in 2 parts: first, a general meeting of Klingon speakers, probably npot unlike our recent meetup in Seattle, but more organized. The second part is a 1 day tutorial in the Klingon language. Unfprtunately, the tutorial Qep`a is after the general Qep`a.

What I am wondering is, if the general Qep`a is worth attending before the tutorial Qep`a?

I haven't, but I sure would like to. It has been held in Europe once, and if it ever comes "here" again I'll be there in a hìkrr. Personally I would attend the whole shebang, but then I can be considered a "Klingon speaker" to boot. tlhIngan Hol DajatlhlaH'a'? pagh 'oH Daghoj DaneH'a'?

And, it's qep'a'. q and Q are different consonants, and the augmentative suffix ends with a glottal stop.

Is that some kind of Klingon convention? Very epic! I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, considering how popular that language is. And a Klingon Language Institute, you say? ..wow!

The main KLI website started giving problems last night about the time I was poking around there.

I don't speak Klingon but if I did and I could go I would want to go to both.
Please don't take offense, but you have typos, I think you're pressing the p button when you mean to press the o and pressing the p and o at the same time.
