Tx and Z?

I was reading John Well's blog today and ran across a bit about ejectives mutating. Apparently, they can pretty much go to implosives to pharyngeals and back again. More interesting, though, is that in some Zulu languages tx and z are pretty much related. Never would have thought of that.

Very curious mutation.  Same place of articulation, but different levels of consonant strength... hmm......
