But I can text someone from Germany with an extra number for hies cellphone number: +49
Is there something like that for the US too?

Well, we have 3-number area codes then the number, maybe that's it.. ???

I'm from the Netherlands, we use +31 normally...

Found this website.  Looks really helpful.  So its telling me that I need to dial 01131 before the number.

For someone in the Netherlands to text me they have to put 001 first.


So if you want to tell me your number i can try it with the code.

Don't forget that Text messages cross countries are often quite expensive. It's costs me about $1 per Text message to the U.S.

Maybe for international messages we can just use e-mail, because that doesn't use their server (like mms.att.net)

Don't know how much it costs me, doesn't matter anyway. I don't expect a 24/7 conversation and after all, my parents pay it ;D

Facebook text alerts are ANNOYING! Why can't the just use one number?!

people can txt me just message me for number just cause i dont wanna go to crazy giving everybody my number. i think i got international but idk.
