Pandoracraft Minecraft Texture Pack
« on: November 17, 2011, 09:19:14 pm »
This texture pack is based off of James Cameron's Record Breaking (hey, it still is if it was his own records) Avatar. It is completed, save tiny improvements I wish to make, and which will be done any time I am bored.

Note: This pack is not affiliated with the Pandoracraft servers. I have talked to the server operators and they are perfectly fine with me keeping the name.

It is here...
PANDORACRAFT Mk. II

If theres something that you dont like, tell me. Ill add it to my list of things to work on. Im making this for minecraft players. I am here for you, so if theres anything that could use improvements, tell me.

If theres any items you want me to change in the pack, PM me and tell me what items, for what reasons. Ill accommodate as many valid complaints as i can.

Have fun, good craftings, and remember to use MCPatcher or you'll be staring through the watery flowing Nether! True story.

Holy Ewya dude, I have a texture pack request for pandora on this place somewhere, it's very nice so far :-),
can you make it HD with very nice flowing water? (64 x 64 should be great to start)
(and make some things bioluminescent at night?)

Uhh, 64x64 will have some problems. It does have custom water, but 32x32 is the extent o my artistic ability. I also still do not have everything up to 32x32 yet even, so ill be busy. And bye beta! :D

Endermen can be set in a sort of 'farmer' na'vi skin, or the female, while enderdragons can be made into ikran. :D

Enderman, dont know yet. All the villagers/testificates are navi. I still need to improve the skin, but Nantang of the Minecraft forums made those skins. Enderdragons are Toruk, and since the first update post-release will be overworld dragons, theyre Ikran.

I've downloaded the text pack and tried it, but it still looks a little... flat? To me, but that's probably because I want a HD texture pack,
the water is not dynamic yet too, which really adds up to a pack.

huh? The water has had a texture for a long while. Uhh... Im assuming you are using MCPatcher, as you seem experienced, so send me a screenshot please. And if you want to help improve the pack, im always looking for suggestions, or even help with some textures. If you wish to help, feel free to.

I'm not experienced at all, but I know what makes a good pack. So if you use the MCpatcher, the water should flow?
Anyway, it's a good start, but it can surely use some improvement, I haven't seen it all yet, though, I'll give you info on what I think still looks... Bad to me. :)

OK, thanks. And I checked on the water, it is still custom water but ive been planning on improving still water for a long while now. As for flowing, it shall remain the same. I havent seen my own lava yet, and its fairly experimental, but it should be pretty good. Any requests will be taken into consideration. In fact, I happily welcome them. The only requests I get are from a friend who tries to get me to make the pack into a mod with a unicorn that turns you into a rainbow duck or something like that.

To repeat, any feedback is appreciated.

And to be quite honest, I agree with you on it looking bad. I need to desaturate everything slightly, and make stone match the ores. If you have any other complaints, tell me.
