The word list is being updated on the server and pushed out to the iPhone version successfully.  I believe that the Android version uses the same server for updates, but Omängum Fra'uti would know for sure, since he wrote the Android version.
I think the current beta of the Android version still uses the old word list, which isn't being updated anymore because changes in the dictionary data source broke the update script.  The latest code for the Android app is using the new dictionary data which is the same the iPhone is using; but there's a crash bug that has been the reason I haven't released it yet, and I haven't had time to finish figuring out the cause of it.

I see! Thank you for clarifying this. :)

I don't see the app in the Android marketplace now... Is it just me?

No, I haven't found it there either. Using the QR-code in the original post, with the barcode scanner app, you can get it, though.

The App is not in the Android Marketplace yet.  I was waiting for the Android version to make it out of beta before putting it in the Marketplace...

Anyway, what do you do when you are using the world's largest Android smart phone?  Why, install the Learn Na'vi app on it!

I am still waiting on VZW to update the Thunderbolt to Gingerbread. Meanwhile, the app still looks good on Froyo even if the vocab is getting a little stale (nudge nudge!)

I still can't install it.  It's not approved by stupid AT&T.  I think I'll have to change to a different carrier to ever get it installed.

no. just download the SDK. it will think you are the appdev and let you install it. totally BS, because I'm in teh same boat, but it works. they call it "sideloading". google how to use Android SDK to install apps.

Human No More

Enable non-market installs in your phone's options then just point your browser to the .apk :)

...unless they've limited that or something, which is a bit fail... I'd recommend rooting anyway though, which bypasses that :)

At&t does disable the non market apps option completely. But using the sdk to install it still works, and is how I developed the first few version.

I feel like I've already said this. ;) So if you are AT&T, get the Android SDK and look up how to install apps with it. (there goes another time xD)

LOL Yes you did Tirea and I am on AT&T.  It's really annoying that i have to hack my phone just to get this to work.
I haven't done it yet because I'm actually a bit afraid to do it.
I may just wait til my contract is up and then go to a different carrier and get another Android phone.

It's NOT Hacking your phone or even altering it in any way. It's just acting like you are a developer who wants to test their own app on their own phone before releasing the app... (which kinda IS what's going on here... xD) ;) It's totally legit.

Just curious, anyone know what is still missing from this App before it can be released as v1.0.0?
