BTW on a different topic, I got to poke around the iPhone app finally today and made a small cosmetic tweak to the animations, as well as setting an option which should DRASTICALLY smooth them out.  I've got another small change or two I may do as well.

Are you changing the iPhone version or changing the Android version to better match?  I didn't see any changes in the iPhone trunk is why I ask.

He changed the android version to match.

Made the branch search-distance.
You may checkout from this instead of trunk. It is fully compilable.

One quick note, I was at the sprint store yesterday looking at phones and checked out the app. On the evo with its massive screen, the buttons were looking a bit pixelated around the edges, higher res?

Yeah, its 800x480, vs the usual 480x320 of older/cheaper/typical Android phones.  If Seze makes some higher rez images (50% larger in both directions) they can be added to the package, and phones with higher resolution screens will load the correct images.

I have no problem making bigger images, but don't expect them anytime soon.  I just left on a 2 week business trip...

No rush.  They don't actually change the functionality - Android is perfectly capable of scaling images to fill the screen, and I should have all the layouts setup properly to do that on any sized screen.  All it does is make the graphics heavy screens look sharper on larger displays.  (I think it also uses the higher res graphics on low res screens too - because it's a much simpler and cleaner scaling to 50% size than trying to scale to 66%.)

I've finally had a chance when nobody is wanting to use the internets to download the entire SDK, so now I can finally contribute to this! Lol, I'll get started tomorrow if I can...
