As a non American I get to watch some of the better stuff that comes out of the US.

The most honest three and a half minutes of television, EVER...

OK, it's more about what we'd like to say, arguably what we should say and Aaron Sorkin certainly does that (always seems to do one of these at the beginning of a series), he writes shows for intelligent people IMO. It's a shame his shows don't last ... like many other intelligently written shows it seems that they don't get the viewing figures.
