Tbh I've seen The Conjuring (1) and it was unscary.
Otherwise I'm not interested in movies in general.

The Conjuring wasn't scary at all. The sequel is much better. (Though I am not easily scared)- Though I respect your opinion.  :)

My favorite horror movie is "In the Mouth of Madness". It's just so trippy.

The only horror I liked was 'Devil' (from 2010) - it's a low-badget movie, (which lead to absence of gore, I assume) which I like.
I normally dislike and care not a bit about horrors with devil/ghost/supernatural-based stories/plots, but I found this one relatively fine.
I liked some scenes from the Saw (Saw 5 and 6), but I haven't seen any of them whole.
Enjoying chemistry, physics, mathematics, ecotoxicology, environtology, ecology, neurology, physiology, anatomy, Na'vi, Latin, German, French, Biblical Hebrew.

(Favourite: The Thing, 1982)

- Monster horror of the 50's and 60s
(Favourite: The Curse of Frankenstein, 1957)

- Monster Horror of the 80's
(Favourite: Evil Dead, 1981)

- Slashers
(Favourite: Halloween, 1978)

- Modern Horror
(Favourite: The Conjuring, 2013)

I love that list! You know the horror genre very well! Have you seen the newest installment of the Evil Dead series, the tv show called Ash vs Evil Dead? It's really great.  ;D
