Any fans of this kickass animated show? i have been since i was 11 when it first aired on FOX and has been my fave animated show of all time and been a Batman fan since 89.

I recently rewatched the entire series, and I was surprised at how dark this show really is. Of course, there are a lot of light-hearted episodes (it is a kid's show after all), but then there are episodes like "Mad love"... Even though it's arguably the best episode of the entire series, I can't believe they actually included it in a show for children.

Spoiler: Plot details from Mad love

For those who don't recall the names of every single episode, "Mad love" depicts Harley Quinn's extremely abusive relationship with the Joker. Towards the end of the episode, the Joker throws her out of a window and nearly kills her. The final scene show a severely injured Quinn first renouncing the Joker forever, but when she finds a 'get well' card next to her bed she falls back in love with him.

The show was never intended to be for kids but then it went to prime time and appealed to adults, kids and teens alike as it was a very adult themed superhero animated show.
