I saw the movie, and I must say, it was quite good. At the end, these were my thoughts:

Jake Sully had the nickname of Perseus back in the day. He did a bunch of epic stuff and lived with Io for a while. Later in life, his brother died. Because he was the only other relative alive, he had to go to a strange planet called Pandora. After many a happenings on this planet, he forgot about Io and fell in love with Neytiri. Soon, though, Io will find out and get revenge...
Failure is the mother of success.
Soon, we will no longer be the leaves on the wind, but the wind itself.
You don't have to be a scholar to be a leader.
Join the real life Na'vi tribe here  (And yes, it will be a real tribe in the real world, NOT a role play tribe!)

So, was it a mistake to decline a "free" showing of this movie (in 3D)?

Col Quaritch

all eye candy no plot, total lame in comparison to the orignal.

It was ok. I probably wouldn't buy it, but it was worth seeing, if only because my mom freaked out when the giant scorpions showed up. I laughed so hard after the movie. I enjoyed it a bit, but I mostly even wanted to see it because of Sam Worthington. (That and I'm obssessed with Greek mythology, just a little. XD) but it was definitely some kind of "shock and awe campaign."

OK so who does Sam Worthington betray in this movie?  I mean he betrayed the Humans in avatar, he betrayed the machines in Terminator salvation, and he's betrayed the entire australian filmaking business by coming to america.  so tell me, who did he betray?

He betrayed his father Zeus but the really intriguing thing is why he did it so badly, I mean honestly ... the film was absolute rubbish!
