I also wanted to give Batman Begins a 9, but I found The Dark Knight, just a little better.

And think that Sam Worthington who plays Jake Sully tried to take a role as James Bond, but didnt maked it, so Daniel Craig took that role, pretty amazing that he tried on it

I felt the story was plain. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. There's nothing wrong with a kids movie being predictable, but it would have been nice if it tried to break the mold just a little. Dragons just felt like a gimmick allowing them to retell the same story.

I liked Toothless but not as much as I did characters from similar movies. I didn't mind Hic-up either, but he doesn't stand out in a crowd. I definitely didn't like Astrid. And the whole relationship with his dad has been done 4 billion times.

The movie does have a lot of charm, but not enough IMHO

Pirates of Caribbean IV - 7/10. I found it pretty diverting and enjoyed the action sequences and the way the story was presented but, honestly, it's been nothing mindblowing to me.

Some subplots and random events were REALLY awkward and not realistic - it seems like they were only bringing some confusing, useless and ridiculous elements to the already sometimes weird and complex main plot.

That religious guy falling in love with the mermaid.. I mean, come on! ><

I liked it a lot as just a movie, but as a PotC movie it should have been better.

The only good part was when the mermaids ate everyone.

I liked the missionary and the mermaid, because it more interesting then Angelica. She just wasn't an engaging character.

The New Daughter. 5/10. It was spooky at first, but then it just turned into a weird monster tale with humanoid creatures that looked like they bathed in an outhouse hole. The silliest part had to be when the girl was standing half-naked at her window, apparently flashing all the forest animals. It seemed it was supposed to be some sort of sexual awakening tale, because she wore a skirt without tights and and a boy looked at her. Nasty.

Btw, the "mean girl" was really ugly.

And the cat died, which was tragic.

Sorry to go into such a rant about a movie pretty much no one has seen.
