And I never saw Toothless, it never was that long in the theaters here either.

Go buy/rent the DVD, I rate it as a better movie than TS3.

CGI is better, WAY better in fact, almost as good as Avatar in places, and the flying scene's are actually better than Avatar. (imho)

Story is at least as good, if not better than TS3.

Cinematography really is top level too.

Ditto John Powell's music.

In fact, it is HTTYD that should have cleaned up at this year's Oscars! (imho)

I must wait until it comes on Film1, since I cant rent it anywhere and I would first like to see it before I buy it. But I also don't want to watch it on the internet.

I only watched 2 films online, A Knights Tale and Black Hawk Down and both of them I bought afterwards.

Hmm, just been thinking ..... Cameron said he wanted Avatar to be performance capture because you can't get the subtleties of human emotion from pure animation. I think HTTYD pretty much proves you can.

There's a HUGE difference. HTTYD is very good for a pure animation film (and a lot better than Toy Story), but Avatar makes it look like literally nothing.

HTTYD does get the emotion across, but since it's animated movements can be exaggerated to achieve that effect instead of being exactly what you'd see in real life. I think Avatar would've been very different if it used that way to show emotion.
