This topic is about the Terminator movies, first of all, leave a post in which you say which movie is the best and why.

For me its Terminator Salvation, because it takes place in the future ( 8 years from now ) and it shows so much more about what happened and what happened after judgement day. I liked the other movies but this one is still my favourite.

1 was the best, as with all Hollywood franchises, it got worse as it went on (although salvation was a lot better than 3).

Some say that it got worse after T2....... I guess you disagree on that. Maybe you can explain? I'm no expert-movie-explainer, with that I mean, I don't pay much attention to details, I just enjoy watching the movie. But when its really bad, then it has my attention.

T2 was still good, I just preferred T1 a bit. T3 snamu timeline-ti royally and left T4 to salvage what was left (which I thought it did quite well).

for me it's T2, It's just badass and Arnie has a bigger talking roll which opened alot of places for his Arnie style jokes and signature lines

Also in T4 isnt John Connor supposed to be the leader of the Resistance? that's what they hype him up to be in the previous 3 movies

Yes, but not because he is in Avatar. After I saw T4, I was like, Wow, he is very in that good in that movie.

I watched another movie with Sam Worthington, I was changing the channels, I got to the Film1 channel, the film was called Roque, I looked who was in it, I saw Sam Worthington, I thought, maybe I should check it, after about 30 minutes I guess, Sam Worthington gets killed by a big Australian crocodile.

Rogue isnt a great movie either, pretty much shows that Australian films arnt that great (which is true)

T1 was dark and brooding, almost cyberpunk edged. 'B' movie blockbuster that made Arni A-list.
T2 My personal fav.
T3 I actually quite liked this.
T4 not seen it.


Had some Ideas for a movie that would slot between T2 and T3, would have explained Sarah Connors death, would have left audiences going WTF too. T2.51, never went anywhere with it, never lifted a pen.
I don't do fanfic, never have, never will.
You ask my RL friends, they'll tell you. It just isn't me. Seriously!

James Cameron commented on T2 about how well Arnold took physical direction.

Any motion and movement was so very precise, it made him seem like was very robotic even with his cybernetic-organic origin story.  Every body movement of the terminator characters was precisely tuned to J.C.'s vision of what they should be.

T3 was the studio's shameless money grab, and complete garbage.

T4 was decent, but suffered from some bad edits and jump cuts, it broke up the quality of the movie, and probably hampered the success of the movie.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles were very good but were canceled before they took off.  JC was working directly with the show, and it showed.  I watched every episode, and now I am pissed that it is not on anymore.

That they were. But then again, a Fox show with someone from Firefly as a main character? It was never going to last. Weirdly, I know find the original dub of it strange (except Cameron's lines, hers sound reasonable because of Firefly) whilst the Spanish dub sounds nìeyawr. I guess that's what I get for getting my parents to pay for it because "it would be educational".
