Force Awakens .....

Either it's lame, poor script, predictable plot, awful clichés and/or unsatisfying set pieces this leads to disappointment. Disappointment leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to the Dark Side!

Or it's great, awesome script, unexpected plot, subtly integrated motifs and/or epic set pieces this leads to joy. Joy leads to attachment. Attachment leads to jealously. Jealously leads to hate. Hate leads to the Dark Side!

Possibly.

I watched it at saturday.
As a single movie, it was very good done. As a continuation of series, it's beautiful but nothing new.

Spoiler alert:

Yes, it's real. Only little CGI at end of movie.

2. But Disney's thieves steal this idea: https://xkcd.com/413/   :(

I enjoyed this movie quite a great deal. I look forward to the rest of the trilogy and the anthology movies.

That video is also blocked Germany... Maybe that video on Facebook works for you:

(I haven't checked wherther this FB video is the same like the YouTube one, but could be worth a try (FB one worked for me).)

I see you guys are having problems with Youtube.
If you need to watch a video that's blocked in your country, try using an American proxy server. That should be an easy fix.

Back on topic, I noticed how much merchandise there is for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There is an entire aisle in my local Walmart full of Star Wars stuff. It's crazy.

I've just seen it (well, recently) over all very good.
( I understand it is now not expected to surpass Avatar as it hasn't been so popular in areas such as China and South America.)
Good movie, well paced, special effects are both awesome and seamless, the CGI looked very convincingly real, and I admire the real push to do as much as possible with real props, sets and locations.
CGI has moved forwards since 2009, that much was clear and gives me real confidence that Avatar 2 will take Cameron's vision to a whole new level.
New X-wing looks cool.
JJ knows how to reintroduce stuff from the past, I particularly like how he brings in the millennium falcon.

However, it did suffer from Hollywood's usual movie logic in places. They know nothing about the thing, fast forward a couple of minutes and suddenly they know a whole bunch of stuff about it, including how long it takes to do it's thing - Like down to the second? Seriously JJ?

I kinda know how I'd like to see Episode IX end, massive light saber dual. I know who should take out Snoke, and it's not who you expect!
