I noticed something, watching the storms, there are certain places that get way more lightening than others. Between 1:07 and 1:09, there is one place (left side of the screen) that seems to get almost continuous lightning.

I guess having infrastructure that's almost falling apart while you watch, is a result of having a government which views having the lowest taxes possible (heedlessly and regardlessly of any and all consequences) as the only political goal worth championing.
