My favorite bassist.... hmm

I'd say John Entwistle of The Who is my favorite followed closely by
Timothy B. Schmit
Chuck Panozzo
Sir Paul McCartney
and Dirk Shumaker of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Yes they are, and that's why I'm trying to play as skillfully as Mr. Entwistle did in The Who.

Nice cover!  I like your tone.

For me it's probably John Moyer of Disturbed (Although i can't say his bass stands out a lot in their songs. It's just that i love Disturbed's sound so much lol  ;D.) in second place and Reginald ``Fieldy´´ Arvizu of KoRn in first. I absolutely love his slap-bass technique  :) <3! Just listen to this:

Got The Life from Follow The Leader (1998):

Korn - Got the Life

0.31 the metallic crunch you hear so clearly is a freakin' bass  :o! Damn, i love it  :) <3!

Ashley Purdey (Black Veil Brides)
Justin Chancellor (Tool)
Nikki Monniger (Silversun Pickups)
Cliff Burton (Metallica)
Branden Campbell (Neon Trees)

By the way, these are in no particular order. ;D
Pure white would be disturbing. :)
