@Teylar
That's the standard crowd barrier used at nearly all concerts.

eg. Metallica, 2010, Brisbane, QLD, Australia

Had a 3day festival this weekend, and really enjoyed it, front row is best row!

I think this was taken at Powerwolf or Adrenaline Mob.

I'm the one with the GMM sweater and the hat. :)

*snip*

Awesome  :o :)! It occasionally looked like that at Metaltown when bands performed. The fence design, too, is reminiscent of the fences at Metaltown. And, boy, does that guy to the right of the center-most person in the photo look excited  :P ;D!

BTW: What's ``GMM´´  ????

GMM is graspop metal meeting, a 3 day metal festival in Belgium, with 4 stages and plenty of bands.
People from all around the world visit this festival.
I even saw some Norwegians and Swedes on the camping.

These were the bands of this year http://www.graspop.be/nl/bands/days/index.html

What do you mean by ``graspop´´, ma tsmukan  ???? Do you perhaps mean grassroots (Microsoft Word-style lol  ;D.)  ????

Hmm... Lamb Of God, Kyuss Lives!, Slayer, Sabaton, DevilDriver, Skeletonwitch, Nasum, Megadeth, Trivium, Kobra And The Lotus, Gojira, Machine Head and Killswitch Engage where all at Metaltown, too. I'm guessing they all where on extensive tours.

The concept of the festival in general sounds a lot like Metaltown, too.

Not that much of a surprise, i guess; Fences don't exactly hold a aesthetic value in looking different from eachother  :P.

Great  :)! Now i know what you look like (Sorta. The photo is a bit blurry  :P.)  :)! There's that constipated face  :P ;D!

I'm only going to Bloodstock this year, and I'm also a bit disappointed at their lineup this year... 2010 was the best I've seen :(

Here's a few more songs by Soilwork:

Distortion Sleep on the album Figure Number Five (2003):

Soilwork - Distortion Sleep [Lyrics] [HQ]

The title track from the same album:

SOILWORK: FIGURE NUMBER FIVE

Yay for good ol' Windows Movie Maker effects  :D!

And, last but not least:

Nerve on the album Stabbing The Drama (2005):

Soilwork - Nerve (Video)

Is it just me, or does the lyrics remind you of the Holocaust  ????

I think this is my favorite Soilwork song so far. That, or Deliverance Is Mine  :-\.

What genre do these guys belong to  ???? My first guess would be Power Metal but i'm not 100 % sure  :-\.

And IMO the guitarist that does the solo looks a bit like Alan Rickman and the singer looks a lot like Sean Bean  ;).

Here's a couple of songs by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera's current band Soulfly, all from their self-titled debut (1998):

Bleed (featuring Fred Durst and DJ Lethal from Limp Bizkit):

Bleed - Soulfly

Eye For An Eye:

Eye For An Eye - Soulfly

And, last but not least, my favorite out of these songs...

No Hope = No Fear:

No Hope = No Fear - Soulfly

Saw a little bit of their performance at Metaltown this year. The reason i didn't see it all was because it was very late (Their performance was between 01.00-02.00.) and me and my friends felt very tired and cold, so we went home.

Yes they're Power Metal with Heavy Metal. Mixed genre.

The singer is new to the band, he is Stu Block (formerly Into Eternity) and their past singers were Matt Barlow (sang for Iced Earth the longest) and Tim "The Ripper" Owens (Formerly Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteem and now solo)

Human No More

Been listening to Ensiferum's new album recently... Quite a few people have been disappointed with it, but I like it - it's certainly not their best but has a few brilliant songs on it.

ENSIFERUM - In My Sword I Trust - Director's Cut

This one in particular... I love it. :'(

Here's a couple of songs by a band i've mentioned earlier in this thread; Scarpoint:

Open Your Eyes (2010), a collaboration with some of Sweden's biggest Hard Rock/Metal vocalists in a project to counter bullying:

Sweden United - Open Your Eyes (lyrics)

The following three songs are from their album The Mask Of Sanity (2011);

Numb:

Scarpoint - Numb

Only Truth:

Scarpoint - Only Truth [HD]

And, last but not least, my favorite by them so far (that or Only Truth);

Ugly:

Engl Savage 60 - Metal

Here we also get to have a look at their guitarist Mr. Ola Englund in person  :)!

0.31 lolwut  ;D?

And here's a link to Ola's Youtube channel if anyone feels the need to check it out  :).

Here's a couple of songs by DevilDriver, who i've been listening a lot to this week (Only their newest album, Beast, though. Will listen to the rest later.). These are my favorites (i think  :-\) so far:

Dead To Rights:

DevilDriver - Dead To Rights

The music video is quite psychotic IMO, especially at the very end.

Fortune Favors The Brave:

DevilDriver - Fortune Favors The Brave (Bonus Tack)

You Make Me Sick:

DevilDriver - You Make Me Sick

Black Soul Choir:

DevilDriver - Black Soul Choir

``Every man is hubrious
Every man's a liar
A machine with the wicked tongue
Singing in the black soul choir´´

Enjoy  :)!
