Well, there's this loooong ;D music composition I'm currently writing, pompously called Instrumental Duet on a Theme from Reality. It is a piece for a violin, a flute, and a cello, and it is going to be pretty long - 3 parts with 5 mini-movements each. I have only completed 2.5 mini-movements of the first part  :D

You can read the score in the attachment. There is also a synthesized audio version at https://dl.dropbox.com/u/38454768/sound.ogg (which BTW uses a nice sound font so it isn't the stock ugly MIDI sounds you'd rather expect)

I especially want a bit of help on the "Moderato nel modo arabico" part. I was trying to write in the traditional Arabic Nahawand Murassah modal scale in 5/4 time but it ended up extremely unpleasing to the ear and impossible to further develop. I know Arabic music is supposed to be monophonic, not contrapuntal, but is it really impossible to develop a canon of a sort on a (badly designed) Arabic melody? By the way, I am extremely unfamiliar with Arabic music theory - I just wanted to throw lots of music genres into my composition.

I should do a huge find-and-replace for "frapoyä" since I use it a lot!  :-[

By the way, comments on the music? And did you solve the hex string puzzle?
