I liked Misery Business and the album that just won Kerrang Best Album doesn't seem too bad based on what little I've heard.

Yeah... I mean, I like most music.  If I want really hard rock, I'll just grab some As I Lay Dying or August Burns Red.

As far as correct sections of the forums, this belongs in the general music section.

I'm not a huge fan personally. At the same time though, there a few songs on riot! and brand new eyes that I like (interestingly, despite the fact that most of my music is harder than paramore I tend to prefer their softer songs; I tend to find that when they do a slightly harder song the music becomes a bit blander, also I think that Hayllee Williams' voice is prettier when she sings the softer songs rather than the shout that sometimes sneaks in in the harder songs. That said, there are very few if any songs of theirs that I dislike.

Also, this should probably be in music, I'll move it for you.

I like most of Paramore's stuff, but there are some really dull Paramore songs, and so I tend to listen to other bands.
If I want a female singer in a metal band, I go for Flyleaf or Eyes Set to Kill or Within Temptation or Nightwish or After Forever...

(Yes I realised I move through a couple of metal subgenres there.)

Songs by Paramore that just bore me are ones like The Only Exception, Turn it Off, Decode... actually, most of Brand new eyes.... Nowhere near as good as Riot! (sorry If you disagree, but then again, that is the point of discussion...)

Having said that, CrushCrushCrush, Misery Business, Born For This, Brick by Boring Brick, All We Know and Emergency are all flashes of genius and are the songs that make Paramore one of the bands on my Ipod!
