So, I saw this thanks to my friend. It is so awesome and I thought I'd share it. :D Here, Enjoy!

You're at a farmer's market, looking for that elusive perfect tomato, when suddenly people around you burst into song.  No, it's not a particularly vocal group of produce vendors. It's a new trend in classical music: spontaneous performances in public places, or flash concerts.

Here is the link to the Article and where I got the info from:

That's pretty neat. Too bad I don't know Italian. It would be cool to have this done to Aida.

I immediately thought of Improv Everywhere's Food Court Musical, too!  I swear that song gets stuck in you head.  I only which they had video of the whole thing.

Anyway, I wonder if these random acts of classical music have some implication for decent amateur musicians.  A couple friends of mine and I play French horn, but outside of college ensembles we don't have an outlet, or an opportunity to play for people together.  We don't care about pay, and have contemplated preparing trios and playing them unannounced at parks and bus stops.  It would be neat if this movement spread (propelled by the love of trickery and surprise) to allow many instrumental hobbyists to get an (unwilling or willing) audience.

Did I make an error you just can't stand to let survive?  Please, correct me!  I'll give you candy or something.

I think you should do it. :D It would be an amazing thing to witness random live music, and if you guys have the motivation, I'd say go for it. :)
