In my opinion Still Alive from Portal wins because it's so tongue-in-cheek.  It's a funny, happy, awesome little song.

Still Alive from Mirror's Edge is great, however it's a little serious and doesn't make me feel all too good.  Makes me feel "bleh."

that link was just menu music. Is that what we're comparing to Portals end credits? I mean, Portals "Still Alive" is legendary amongst modern games.

I think that menu music is the representation of the whole game because during the ingame the soundtrack are awesome !

Well music in mirriors edge is good, but I still say Portal by a land slide. Portals version captures every thing that was great about the game

it's like comparing lord of the rings to magical trevor.
Both are awesome but for completely different reasons

Portal is funny and it fits perfectly with the game and the mood.
Mirrors edge is a song. It actually has a person employed to sing it and it was released as a single. (I think...)

IIRC portal was sung by one of the people making it.
they were a graphics designer or something...

When they were casting for glados part of the requirements was that the voice actress could sing. She wasn't a dev. It's all in the commentary.

You might be thinking of riddick. All female computers in that game are the wife of a dev.
