As more and more video game storylines become cinematic (and quite frankly pretty good), soundtracks have evolved and become an art form of their own. All of you know I'm a Halo fan, but I'm incredibly impressed by Halo 4's OST. Like, really freaking impressed. It reminds me a lot of the Avatar soundtrack in a lot of ways, but it's still Halo, and that's awesome. I'm going to post my all time favourite track off the OST and let you all see for yourself what I mean by art.

Interesting. What game is this from?
X3 Reunion, X3 Terran Conflict and the addon Albion Prelude.
The three games have the same sectors named: "Kindom End" and "Getsu Fune".

Wow, really, really impressing music! What I love to do with this kind of music: Is put this music on, close my eyes and think about the certain game its from, but mostly about the game and just overlook the environment I remember from the game with the music playing.

Just like with the soundtrack of AC Revelations:

I always think I am standing on a tall building or sometimes a mountain top, overlooking 'the world'
