To teach is to learn.

Ke äotivìran kawkrr sute a tìhusahaw livu.

*'they' can refer to either hammocks or people, take your choice.

Kivar lu nivume.

To teach is to learn.
As there is nothing like infinitive in Na'vi, we need to add something:
Fwa kar lu fwa nume (lit: That you teach is that you learn).
But better version is:
Tìkusar lu tìnusume (teaching is learning)

QuoteKe äotivìran kawkrr sute a tìhusahaw livu.
Addposition can't be connected to verb, but noun (and use space, if it is connected from front side). Tìhusahaw is noun, wee need adjective. And as it is something like command, replace ke with rä'ä:
Kawkrr rä'ä tivìran äo sute a hahaw or Kawkrr rä'ä tivìran äo sute ahusahaw.
This sounds a little strange to me, one can wonder here on Earth how one can walk under people, IMHO better is
Kawkrr rä'ä tivìran äo nivi a tok tuteot ahusahaw.
Nivi is illegal word for hammock (from ASG), but it don't breaks rules for syllable creation

Hmm.....so when one wants to use kawkrr, one should use rä'ä as well.  Should they go next to each other 'Kawkrr rä'ä' or buttress the verb to emphasize the point 'Kawkrr tivìran rä'ä'....or doesn't it matter?

I deliberately didn't use nivi because it was illegal.  Another thing we need a word for, kefyak?

Rä'ä  is a command-form. DON'T! compared to "it might be better if you were not going to...."

And there is a suggestion out to legalise nivi, so don't despair ;)

with "kawkrr" you need another negation (Na'vi uses multiple negation) - rä'ä for commands - Kawkrr tsakem rä'ä si
or ke for general negation - Po kawkrr tsakem ke soli.
Negation always goes directly in front of verb (for si verb just in front of si).

Location of kawkrr is not strict, tsakem rä'ä si kawkrr is still correct

Good info!  So.....if I drop the kawkrr, then I need only use 'ke', srak?

Fra'u a titswusaron ke livu toruk.
Tìtswusayon is the noun "flying".  All you need for "everything which flies" is: Fra'u a tswayon...

I would say this as:  Sweylu txo fko nivume ta 'awa nantang tup nantang apxay.  But I think this would work too:  Sìltsan (nì'ul) lu fwa fko nume 'awa nantangta to fwa zene nivume nantangta apxay.

Fra'u a titswusaron ke livu toruk.
English original sounds interesting - IMHO it can also mean that toruk can't fly. Probably better sentence is "Not all what flies is a toruk":
It could be
Kea fraioang a tswayon lu toruk => but I'm afraid it could be interpreted as "No flying creature is toruk" (although "no creature" is kea ioang). I'll try to consult with better people.

IMHO also Fra'u a tswayon... is not fully correct - not things fly, but birds/animals/creatures

What about Toruk ke livu fra'u a tswayon?

I think it should be "Toruk ke lu fra'u a tswayon" then.

livu makes your sentence say "Toruk may not be everything that flies"

Actually, I was thinking in terms of Trudy's line about not being the only things that fly out there, "or even the biggest." 8)
So her samson flies, yes?  It wouldn't be a native concept to the Na'vi, but they certainly must have acquired it. :)
