I prefer this one:
QuoteHem a sayi awnga mì sìrey lahea sutefpi 'ì'awn fìtsenge tì'i'avay.
That proverb consists of both lines. If you remove one of them, the main idea disappears....
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.
"Oe tasyätxaw ulte koren za'u oehu" (Limonádový Joe)

Hmmm... Whoops!
I thought it was two versions of the same proverb.

Krra awngal inan pukit, ke slu yawne awngaru tìlam suteyä pukmì ki aylì'u, aysäfpìl sì te'lan sneyä. Tirea sneyä slu yawne awngaru.

Sngum rä'ä si, lu lefpom.
Don't worry, be happy.
Small problem is, that lefpom is not for people, nitram is fine (with 'efu, of course, as it is inner feeling)

Sngum rä'ä si, '(iv)efu nitram
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.

That's a rather interesting proverb ::)

progressive form makes it better. Very true, I'll probably put this saying on my notice board in the office :)

Nume teri reyfyao, ftia fpìlfyat.
Learn about a culture, study a way of thinking.

Ftia lì'fyaot, ftia fya'ot tìpuslltxeyä.
Study a language, study a way of speaking.

Meaning: Learning can have a good impact in your life.

Ftia lì'fyaot, ftia fya'ot tìpuslltxeyä.

As we have fpìlfya, I'd use it instead of trying to describe things :)
Nume teri reyfya, ftia fpìlfyat
BTW, why indefinite -o ?
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.

-o can mean 'any', which perfectly fits.
And thanks for suggesting ''fpìlfya''.

I want to edit my proverb though...

Nume teri reyfyao, nume teri fwa fpìl.
Learn about a culture, learn to think.

Ftia lì'fyaot, nume teri fwa plltxe.
Study a language, learn to speak

Any correction is welcome.

I understand -o as "some", "any" is like "whatever, no matter which..." -> ketsran, so to me these sentences appears like:
Learn about some culture ....
Learn some language ....
Meaning is a little different, I think.

Good!
I would try to improve it a little by more literal version:
Zeyko nì'it fìtrr fteke zìyevene zeykivo nìtxan trray.
Today's prevention is better then tomorrow's big healing; Heal a little today to not have to heal very much tomorrow.
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.

^ Not bad

I have three tibetan proverbs from a book :D

Ngari krra piak si menari oel tse'a txe'lanit,
Oeri krra tstu si pum tse'a kifkeyt.

When you open your eyes I see your heart,
When I close mine I see the world.

Txo fkoru sivunu kem a seri, tsakrr tsakem seri nìnawri.
Qui aime ce qu'il fait y est habile.
It's a bit hard to translate it into English, :/

Txo kawtu ke steykivi, tsakrr pefya maweypey?
Si personne ne met en colère, comment pratiquer la patience ?
If nobody angers, how to practise patience?
