^ "Suicide would be greater than a life worthy of living.." ?? :o

I hope I misunderstood that one. :S kinda makes me worry a bit.. O_o

Tstewa Ikrantsyìp

Dying by your hand would be far better than any life worth living without you

Ohh!

The "without you" part was missing. I totally missed the context.

I like it! :) So deep and romantic <3

As I don't see what noun would belong to tìrusey, I would try:
Tìterkup fa ngeyä tsokx to tìrey a ley ngaluke livu nawm.
ley meaning is worth
ngaluke or luke nga meaning without you

Still a very romantic poem. Bravo!

Ohh, it scared me first too, it doesn't sound like proverbs but like farewell before death.
IMHO "without you" really needs to be added and I think, that nawm doesn't fit in meaning. Nawm means great as in Alexander the Great, or noble, while you are trying to use it in meaning better (better quality).
Apparently suicide is not intended meaning, I understand sentence as: Better you kill me if you will not live with me.

So I'd try something like:
Tìterkup fa ngeyä tsyokx ley to tìrey a ngaluke.
Fwa (ngal) tspang oet to fwa (oe) rey ngaluke lu sìltsan.

If intention would be to say Better to do suicide than live without you, then we can say:
Tìterkup fa sneyä tsyokx ley to tìrey a ngaluke.

Nice try, but, hm, IMHO such theme is not good in this thread.

Iknimayari hapxì angäzìk frato lu tìnusume.
The hardest part of the Iknimaya is the learning.

Meaning: The preparation is a necessarily evil to accomplish something.

Kintrr lu txana krr, vospxì apukap lu ketsuktiama krr.
A week is long, 6 months are an eternity.

A very true sentence in politics.

I know that krr is generally uncountable, but I checked the Wiktionary and it can be countable if it's ''A measurement of a quantity of time; a numerical or general indication of a length of progression''.

Has anyone listened to Seal's song Crazy (ye olde 1991)? I've found this interesting quote:

Fko ke emrayey txo ke livu na 'eveng krro krro.
We're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy.

It means that if you don't take risks and are always serious, you'll somewhat miss your life.

It depends on the child, because some are very crazy. :P

Tirea Aean

I was never a crazy child. Mostly calm and always analyzing and puzzle-solving... When I wasn't playing Fps games lol.

I still get the sentiment tho. There is generally a difference between the behavior of children and adults, involving the maturity level

Vawmataw

Anyway, I wasn't serious. :P

Nice proverb, but Na'vi text translates to "Related to you, fate will intend to find" - not specified what. Remember, that kan, or more precisely only it's kolan form has limited usage in meaning "I meant" only in self-correction, see examples here (i.e. Oeri tsyokx tìsraw si . . . kolan zekwä).

To make better version, some rewording will help:
Ngari telel rayun ngat => Your matters will find you
Ngari syayìl rayun ngat => Your fate will find you

or very exactly:
Telel ngeyä rayun fya'ot a wo ngat - your matters will find way to reach for you (warning - this is probably not correct, as we need reach you)

or very loosely:
Ke tsun fko 'ivawnìm syayit fkeyä => One can't avoid it's fate; it's not possible to avoid one's fate

Or something like that.
