Why have I not bought that ASG yet, thanks guys I will be locking this thread in a few days as I fell that it is no longer needed let me know if you guys want it opened for a discussion about other ways of travel and I am always open to stuff from 2007 scripts and concepts because that is always a fun discussion. I can not wait for AVTR 2 when we have even more to talk about.

Pretty much agree on locking until further info or ideas come forward. We've pretty much covered everything there is for the time being.

As for the ASG, when you can get it, i strongly recommend you do so. Currently it stands as the canon source for much of what we know about Pandora. The na'vi isn't 100% reliable, and there are known issues and errors with the na'vi in the ASG. But the original vocabulary dump at the back of the book is invaluable.

Also in the ASG I just read that they use a certain tree to make canoes. I forget what page this is on but it's across from the page that shows a Na'vi playing a long drum.

Canoes could range anywhere from little ones meant for short river trips to massive ocean faring ones like the Maori of New Zealand.

Na'vi are found all over the planet, from plains to forest to sub-artic, and on islands, so they have boats. The real question, is whether they have igloos for their ikrans.

 Igloos for Ikran that is a really funny thought. If someone wants to photo shop that for us it would be great. PM me and I will unlock this thread it was locked because of a lack of information or the need to talk about travel was planning on either unlocking it when the directors cut or fan cut of the movie is released becuase we will have more info hopefully.
