Since "ean" can be blue or green, perhaps 'blue flower' is imprecise and should be 'blue or green flower'. Something we haven't gotten from James Cameron yet is a definitive on Na'vi color perception.

You think they can't see the difference between blue and green? :)

How about middle-ground and go with "Teal"  ;D

Yes, it could be perhaps a Teal flower or plant of some type that is very beautiful. Maybe Neytiri liked them as a child and named her teal-ish Ikran after the color and flower. Also, anyone else notice that female hunters (taronyu) have brighter colored Ikran (more green and teal) and the males seem to have darker (more blue then yellow and green) Ikran? Just an observation. Also, could Neytiri's Ikran name be in another dialect ?

IMO Seze (not flower) is green (and some yellow and black), but not blue at all..

It might be a random-picking..
