She does make 3 separate appearances and we never see her die. Add that to the fact that she has spoken lines and that she's Neytiri's stunt double and the chances of us at LEAST seeing the actress again are good. Hopefully we get her character too!

I am Omaticaya through and through

There was a post back in early January stating that there is no clan IN the Iknimana, well I believe I heard or read somewhere that the Omaticaya had that in their region or area. Now, if I were Jake (and I AM a former Marine), I would move the clan into this region to find a new Kelutrel as the flux would provide GREAT protection.

There are bound to be trees there large enough for the Omaticaya (a broken tribe now, figure they lost about 35 to 40% of their clan in the destruction of Hometree and the war), so a smaller one would be adequate.

I wouldn't be surprised if many of the tribes were so badly hurt, that they just join into one larger (aka: Normal sized) tribe.

Also, poor horse clan! Nobody seems to like them :P

well i cant stand the Floridian beaches and the ocean anymore... i need mountains. i don't care they are floating (but they still look pretty sick). even though they probably don't get snow. I'm a big snowboarding fan by the way.

sorry I can't help myself, but that would really suck... snowboarding off of a mountain, that's like a mile into the air. I love to ski and I love to jump cliffs. just imagine that.... think about it...

on another note, I am totally stuck between the Eastern sea, and the Omaticaya.  :-\ I love the sea, but I need to be near a forest. I love heights, so I'm fine with either one in that case. I Love the Ikrans, but I also like all of the interesting creatures in the forest.  :'( I can't decide...

I'm like you,
the Eastern Sea Clan are brilliant, but I couldn't live without my trees. I need to be surrounded by forest, the bigger the better ;D

The 15 tribes are probably all on one continent (from what I saw at the begining, if I got the planet right, Pandora has similar continent/water ratio as our Earth does), doubt he could fly over an ocean in... 2 days? So if we take that times 5 (number of continents we have)... I guess there'd be a lot of different tribes  :P Can't wait to find out more about at least some...

For now though, I'd have to go with the Horsemen....Not one for the sea, or flying (though I'd love to try), so it's nice land for me... and I love horses, so...  :)

Africa, Antarctica(southern most continent), Asia( including the Sub Continent), Australia(smallest), Europe, North America, South America. I know its been a few years since I was at school, but I'm just wondering.........5 continents??

I feel sorry for the Horsemen of the plains. While I feel no great affinity towards them, they get a really rough deal in the movie (mass slaughter, no flight etc) and if we gave them a chance they could prove to be just as attractive.

By the way, rainforests all the way for me.

I think the 5 continents refer to Pandora - though 5 is an incorrect number by any means.
And North and South America are most definitely two separate continents (if not before than for sure after the completion of the Panama canal). Though it is debatable if Europe and Asia are in fact separate continents or rather one - Eurasia - as they are not separated in the same fashion as all the other continents.

As for the tribes I totally agree with you.
Though you intel on Pandora is wrong - the ASG states on page 7:
"Though Pandora's land-to-water ratio is greater than Earth's, the land is broken up into a larger number of smaller continents, creating more coastline and fewer inland regions than on Earth."
So there are most definitely more than 5 continents on Pandora.

North and South America is two continents the same way Africa and Eurasia is two different ones. Asia and Europe is one continent geological, historically they are two as India and Europe had very little direct contact before the age of exploration, even less for China.
Historical and political Central America is best for Mexico down to Columbia. Egypt is an African country but belong to the Middle East political and historical same is true but in lesser degree for all the North African courtiers.

As I remember the ASG talks about hundreds of tribes, an Na'vi tribe might be a group of multiple clans like the Omaticaya, most would have the same way of living but you might se specialization as a costal tribe trade with an related forest tribe. I guess the Na'vi population is between 1 and 5 millions. Human population was 10 millions at the end of the ice age and a lower population would keep the pressure down and avoid conflicts

I'll admit, the Ikran riders of the Eastern Sea is a very intresting tribe, but my home is in the trees, or even in the Hallelua Mountans. I never could be comfortable on the plains or right next to the sea, I need to be surrounded by trees and foliage to feel comfortable.

Dunno how to really explain it. Maybe it's because of where I live.

I know how u feel. I liked the Ikran riders of the Eastern Sea but I would feel more comfortable midst the trees.   ;D

Ioang taronyu

I like the Ikranflying so much :D, and so my favorite tribe is the: eastern sea ikran tribe

i got a off topic question. what about the oceans of Pandora? do you think there might be a tipe of water Na'vi tribe riding the beasts of the water? or mabie even Na'vi/ mermaid? how awesome would that be! imagine all the animals that could be created by imagination in the oceans, i hope Cameron does something with the ocean in the next movie.
Wish me luck on my journy of learning how to speak Na'vi. :)
