Your knock-knock joke still cracks me up  Congrats on the NotW. Here's my guess: N/T/N

I learned how to make a noise it responded to, from listening to the sounds it would make naturally.  It was strange having the sparrow fly up to my chest and be excited to see me.  I think it would get stressed when it would have to wait for hours for me to come home from school.
That's adorable ^^

I'm going with T, F, T. I don't know how the first one is True based on "standard wisdom", but YEAY if it is. :-)

I also have to say that you, Sir, are one of the most generous folks I've ever met. Not a small part of that 3k you mention has gone towards the care and feeding of your fellow community members and you deserve something even more honorable than NotW in recognition of that!!

Seykxel sì nitram!

Irayo ma Prrton!

You are generous with your compliments and your willingness to include others with big things.

Eywa ngahu.

I'm the kind of guy that celebrates by buying a round of drinks for his friends.

Sometimes, people return the favor, sometimes, they don't.

And for the record, there are people who I would never do this for.

Also there are limits to my ability to do this, a small group 10 +- people, not an issue, the 4004 +- "active members?" of LN.org.  Definitely not all at the same time, maybe groups of 10 once every other week until Avatar 1,2 & 3 comes out on Blue-Ray collectors edition in 3D.  Or maybe limit it to a karma level or something.

I'll tell you what, Txur'Itan.  I'll do the drinking for you.   ;)  I'm Italian.  I grew up with liquor all around me and my parents let me have it whenever I wanted it.  I can drink most men under the table and still drive home - 40 miles ... in the rain

I did not know this stuff. Ma Txur'Itan, you're awesome! (Not just based on your buying people stuff, but the reasoning behind it ^^)

Question #18
True or false?

Quote
1. I am descended from Catherine De Aragon, princess of Spain, and First Ex-Wife of King Henry the 8th.

I have been working with a Second Cousin on some Geneology records keeping, and there is a connection through these persons here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_of_Aragon,_Queen_of_Portugal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_of_Aragon

1. María del Carmen De Aragon
2. María del Carmen De Aragon

My Second Cousin is very versed in south american records, and because of his Spanish fluency he was able to make vast progress there.  So I am looking into closing the gaps if I can, and trying to link back through some of the names that place our common ancestory back in Europe.

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mar%C3%ADa_del_Carmen_Azlor_de_Arag%C3%B3n_e_Idi%C3%A1quez

You will have to translate from Spanish.

http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/z/a/p/Manuel-Eduardo-Zapata/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0023.html

Carmen Guasch de Aragón is my Father's Maternal Grandmother, and María del Carmen De Aragon is the Name of Carmen's mother, and her mariages and divorces are a matter of public records, but still some digging to do. There are hyphenated last names peppered everywhere convoluting the hunt.  There was some sort of attachment to keeping the De Aragon name for generations, but as all families migrating to the USA have discovered, Yer name needs to become UHmerican.  So the Hyphenated variants of De Aragon have disappeared in my immediate family, and the people roaming the country with the Last name Aragon are probably actually distant cousins of mine several times removed.

It is possible that she just happens to have the same name as the aforementioned woman, the facts are a bit foggy that far back, but it is the final link in the proverbial chain, and will probably elude me for years unless I get up the gumption to visit grave markers and records keepers in Peru.  Nowadays, with fat people getitng murdered for the harvesting of their fat flesh, I think I will wait until that is not happeneing out there anymore.

There is more to learn.  There is a pretty strong conneciton to Spanish, and Portugal Royals.  There is a family connection to a Thorsten Edvard Reinhold Wensjöe Elgenstierna from Sweeden that I am reading about also.  I do not know who he is as a person, but he got around as far as having kids was concerned.

(Verdict TBD)

2. I work for the NSA, and am monitoring Al Queada operatives attempting to pass coded messages in Na'vi.
I could tell you, but I'd have to tickle torture you.

(Verdict obviously false! But, I wonder about those of you who thought it was true, I am watching you...)

3. I am flying in a blue dream.

It just so happens "Flying in a blue Dream" is my favorite Joe Satriani Album right now, and not surprisingly, exceedingly apropriate for my feelings towards Avatar and Learnnavi.org, are a number of tracks on it that really match the thematics of my mood.  Give it a listen some time.

(Verdict True)
