Btw how do you lock a topic?

Post again and click on "Additional Options" (below the text box). There you can choose if you want to lock the topic. Just click it and after you posted - tadaa!

To tell the truth, this is how I think it works. I never locked a topic. Try it that way, it should work.

Or, if you look at the bottom bar, next to where is says "Link to Calendar", you will find an option to lock the topic.

Finally, when in doubt, the mods are available
