The movie 'Avatar' connected with my spirit because of my friendship with animals. I looked up 'Omatakaya' (on the Internet) and found Learnnavi.org. I thought the language easy to learn. So, I decided to stay. I now spend time here every day.

Earth big cats choose their friends and not the other way around. I have been chosen to be a friend by a number of big cats. I think Pandoran thanators are the same as Earth big cats. Therefore, the name `Eylan Ayfalulukanä = 'Friend of Thanators'. (Leaving the optional plural affix on 'palulukan' was intentional to emphasize that thanators choose their friends and not vice versa.) My avatar image is my best lion friend, 'Kenya'.

Yes, but not well. I need training (practice) in speaking. The Na`vi language is beautiful and (relatively!) easy to learn. I find learning Na`vi to be a good pastime and good for the mind. My goal is mastery. I use a number of different methods of learning Na`vi. Most people think that learning Na`vi is a big waste of my time. But a few people have shown definite interest in learning Na`vi.

It is hard to find anything wrong with 'Avatar'. The greed of the skypeople is very bad. Beloved to me is Pandora's animals and plants. It is an amazing and excellent world! 'Avatar' is now my second favorite film. (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is my first.) I have seen 'Avatar' seven times in the theater.

Has Avatar  changed your life in any way?

'Avatar' changed things only a little for me. I already hold many of the beliefs shown in the film. I can bond spiritually with animals (big cats especially), and that has saved a couple of lives. I would like to get my picture (eventually) 'avatarized'.

I love big cats and all meat-eating animals. I have loved them since I was a child. Lions show us royalty and God. But they can love you very much. Ligers and tigers are very playful. But they can love you as well.

I do not fear earth animals. I exercise care around all of them. (A lot of words are missing to to be able to basically say, 'I don't fear any animal, but I have respect for all of them'.)

Last Wednesday, a failed computer server took down learnnavi.org. Apparently caused by `Eylan Ayfalulukanä. His post count reached 666. This caused the computer to fail. Poor `Eylan! He now has his tail between his legs.

You now have the option to change anything in Avatar 2. What would you do? Would you let Cameron do the work or include own ideas? Would your movie still be about the humans and the Omatikaya?

I had a lot of catch-up to do after spending most of yesterday working on my original response (after cleaning and feeding the big kitties  ). Then, I was surprised today by having a bunch of critical stuff fail at work, so I will be going back there shortly to 'pull an overnighter'. This, unfortunately, deprives me of the time I need to finish my NoTW post. I should get the final answer (and the next NoTW's question) up tomorrow evening.

I also took 'kitty pictures' yesterday as well. These were specifically to post here. So you will get to see (among other things) how much our 'little liger girl' is growing!

Hufwe Atxur, I have seen that video numerous times, and it is one of my favorites. Lions are really like that, and I am sure Kenya would do that to me if we had bar enclosures. Physical contact means a lot to cats in general, and especially lions.

As far as Narnia goes, you (and anyone) can come if I do find a way in. (BTW, I am planning to write a story about some scientists who build an exact model of the infamous wardrobe in a lab. With the wardrobe surrounded by scientific instruments, they attempt to enter Narnia. Of course they fail, until they are not expecting it. And all their instruments record that nothing happened!)

Lions are like that (But you can bet that the man and the lioness have known each other her entire life). The wife of my best friend had a bond like that with lions. The lioness at the zoo she worked at came up to her and deposited her newborn cubs in her lap. She was so good with the cats they had to ask her to leave employment (with full visiting privileges, though)! I would sure like to know where this place is. They are doing things seriously right!

Dreamlight - I know Tom Harvey, and have heard him tell this story (from a zookeeper's perspective) at the 2009 Feline Conservation Federation convention. Just before the time this story happened, Tom was ready to close his zoo because new laws in Kansas had made it much harder to run. He and his wife prayed for a miracle. A day or two later,  the tiger cubs were born. Mom rejected them, and then they found they could nurse the orphaned cubs on the dog. They put out a press release about the 'tiger pups'. The media attention they received from the story brought enough money in the door for them to keep the zoo open! There is now a children's book out about this event, entitled 'Tiger Pups'.

Our lion Kenya came from Tom's place. Kenya's father was also a magnificent lion. But he is now in Aslan's Country.
